Hello! If you're reading this, it is likely because you want to apply for one of the ranks or locked families. How do you do that? Simple!
Some tips to keep in mind:
Without further ado, here is the template!
Byond Key: What is the name of the account you'll be using for World of Vigor?
Character Name: Self-explanatory.
Intended Race: Do you wish to be an ordinary human, or are you attempting to be a rare race?
Intended Family: If you do not wish to be apart of a family, then you can leave this empty or write down N/A.
Desired Rank: If you are only applying to be apart of a family or a specific locked race, then you can leave this empty or write down N/A. Family Heirs count as ranks.
Wipe Plans: If this character was approved, what would you do when you're able to play? How would you accomplish your family's goal? If you're going for a rank: 1. How will you fulfill your objective? or 2. What would you like to add to the RP as said rank? Be specific, but there is no need to write a full essay. Just write whatever you feel is a sufficient amount to get your point across.
RP Sample: This can either be a previous RP post you wrote or something brand new and specific to this application. Bonus points for creatively showcasing your character's mentality.
- Check out this document featuring detailed information on what options are available, how difficult they are to acquire, what to expect with the role, etc.
- Copy the Rank Template below and fill it out. Keep in mind that you must apply for everything you want in -one- application; we do not want you submitting multiples! Additionally the difficulty increases for each add-on you throw in; by how much depends on the combination you pick. (I.E. Attempting to get a Black Difficulty family and a Red Difficulty rank is going to be judge far more harshly than attempting to get a Orange Difficulty family and Green Difficulty rank.)
- Post the completed template in the Rank Submissions sub-board. We will review it and offer you our judgement. If you choose to apply for a combination of items, we may deny one of the items but approve the other. We might also tell you you'll have to decide between the options.
Some tips to keep in mind:
- Be patient! We have set the boards to private so that all applications are only viewable by staff. Just because you only see yours in there does NOT mean it is the only application on the docket. We will do our best to give you a timely response.
- Proboards has a thread subscription system which automatically gives you alerts when someone has posted in your thread. Periodically check the Participated tab on the upper right hand side of the forum for any new notifications. You can also activate email notifications through your Profile settings if you're big on checking email.
- We will be updating the slots as approvals and denials flow in. Check either here or the Google Doc to see what's available.
- The game will go up regardless of what slots are and aren't filled by the time it is ready.
- Should we acquire enough players, we will be adding additional ranks (and perhaps even slot expansions) in the future. Just because you failed this time doesn't mean you won't be able to learn and apply for something else down the line later.
