Mitsurugi-Ryu These swordsmen are cocky little shits, and everyone knows it. They grate on most people’s nerves and lack respect towards anyone not part of their continent. They have on-sight beef with the Hajikamoto and they aren’t afraid to throw down anytime or place. They fight dirty but even then, they still think they’re the shit. Racial Restrictions: Human only. To upgrade their perk: Enjoy life or death duels. A Hajikamoto is preferred but take what you can get. Blackwell Blackwell themselves are honorable knights. Similar to their Julious counterparts they honor a code of chivalry. Most aim to keep their composure no matter the person or reason. They use their head before making rash choices. The color of their element is, also, the color of their hair. Racial Restrictions: Humans, Wood Elves, High Elves. Taiga The Taiga is less of a united family unit and more of a bunch of blood-related gangs all fighting for supremacy. They are possibly the most divided family out there. As a result of this, their focus (beyond drug creation and black market business) consists of beating out the other branches. They don't really care about the other families beyond the Same (whom they work under). Racial Restrictions: Human, Orc, Beastkin [excluding Leporidae, Aquatic, Avian, Reptile] To upgrade their perk: Corner the drug market. Take over turf and expand your influence any way you can (Be it through wit or fists). Daogan Daogan are very wary and skeptical of others. If they could, they’d have their eyes on everyone at all times. They’re very secretive about their family and even sometimes distrust their own. Tamabuki Tamabuki are known for their strange weapon-based abilities and spiritual link to their chosen soul weapon. They are evenly split between fierce fighters and excellent supports. They’re favorable towards those of their homeland and neutral towards anyone else. The only exception to this are the Stonehearts; to this end, they treat the renowned blacksmith family as rivals who do not truly understand the soul of their equipment. Racial Restrictions: Human, High Elf, Halfling. To upgrade their perk: Evolve your link with your soul weapon through either battle or crafting. Figure out how to enter the Weaponscape and explore its secrets. Friendly: All Bo families Neutral: All Dozu Sabeji families, All Julious families except Stoneheart, All Narlamu families Enemy: Stoneheart Goal: Reach your soul weapon’s maximum potential. Outshine the Stoneheart family in blacksmithing. Tips: - Each Tamabuki has a weapon type they are associated with. This means they can get creative in terms of design and function when it comes to their specialty.
- Their family abilities are based around Mana generally. This makes them good elementalists that can fight well at whatever range fits their type and playstyle.
- Weapons made by them tend to carry unique properties based on the creator. Some properties can be applied to others' weapons too.
- Those choosing to fight solo tend to be more on the durable end; those that rely on supporting others tend to focus more on caster-like features.

Feng Huang The Feng Huang are more or less elders in mortal form. Due to the millenia of knowledge they all have thanks to constant reincarnation, a few of them carry nihilist beliefs. The rest attempt to spread wisdom; a select few are pretty childish and attempt to have fun in their lives. Whatever the case, they’re known to be quite wise and know almost everything there is to know about the world. Lao Shan Lung The dragons of the heavens will judge you. They look down on almost all who dare cross them, having a heated rivalry with the Shang Lu. They show rage in their actions and always act with righteous honor. Normally the Same handle the scuffle. They all have black hair without fail. Racial Restrictions: Dragon Beastkin only. Lao Shang Lu Fearsome tigers. The Lao Shang Lu are a foil to the Lung. They’re prone to outburst and can’t properly keep their composure when slighted. They’d rather cut individuals up and ask questions later. They hate being looked down upon which leads them into many altercations with their dragon counterparts. Normally the Same handle the scuffle. Normally they have orange hair, but it can vary. Racial Restrictions: Feline Beastkin only. To upgrade their perk: Sharpen your claws through serious duels against others. Even better if it's against a Lao Shan Lung. Friendly: Same Neutral: All families outside of Julious except Same and Lao Shan Lung Enemy: Lao Shan Lung, All Julious families Goal: Defend your home against invaders and greedy dragons. Same They are all about that money. Even though their home is registered in Bo, most are cutthroat and come from the land of Atlantis underwater. They devise tolls in the sea and care all about that paper. Most are vicious and cutthroat when it comes to cash, and in combat they’re even more savage. Even so, if they like you they’ll probably cut you a break. Due to being allied with both the Lao Shan Lung and the Lao Shang Lu, they frequently are the peacekeepers between the feuding families; having them genocide one another is not good for business. Needless to say, they are all some type of aquatic beastkin. Racial Restrictions: Aquatic Beastkin only. To upgrade their perk: Maintain your monopoly on the ocean. Get better at utilizing the family’s aquatic fighting style. Become business savvy. Teng Bo The Teng Bo are better than others. Even so they attempt to treat others with respect, but it always comes off so snarky. Every family is just merely a footstool for them to ascend higher in rank and power. They love seeing people try their hardest just so they can crush them and prove their superiority.
